Buchanan Computer Services was founded in December of 2004 by Dan Buchanan in response to a lack of specialized technology services in the Tri-Cities area. Having experience in information technology, broadcasting, digital security, video surveillance and radio communications, he was able to offer services marketed to those industries. Our technicians are skilled in multiple areas of technology so that we are able to offer these specialized services with a primary focus on broadcast media services. In mid-2005 we began providing specialized computer and network services to an Elizabethton radio station and to a Baptist Ministry in Roan Mountain. In Fall of 2006 we were awarded the contract to provide technical services for the 1-AA College Game of the Week heard on Sirius Satellite Radio and the following winter we were awarded the contract for the Patriot League Game of the Week also on Sirius Satellite Radio. Buchanan Computer Services has been able to provide affordable and reliable service to clients all over the nation. We thank our clients, because without you we couldn't continue to offer this amazing service. Dan Buchanan, the founder and current owner of Buchanan Computer Services, has a long and sucessful history in the Information technology industry. Dan has been working in the high end IT industry since the mid 90's. Dan has represented such major technology and communications companies as AT&T, BellSouth, and Onvia and has been head of IT for an international digital security systems developer that is now part of the Chamberlain Group. Currently Dan is Chief Technology Engineer for several sports programs produced by Gino Communications and BMS, heard on such well known media sources as Clearchannel and Sirius Satellite Radio. All technicians at Buchanan Computer Services have a minimum of six years experience in the real world information technology industry. All of our technicians are relaxed and laid back and generally easy to get along with and we believe that part of providing the best possible service is through establishing a close, friendly relationship with our clients. |
