Laptop Information Buchanan Computer Services offers service for most brands of laptops. Because of the complexity of and the compact design of a laptop we charge a diagnosis fee of $60.00 for each laptop. Half of this fee is refundable if you choose to have the laptop repaired. Many laptop problems cannot be repaired for a cost that is practical when compared to the low cost of simply replacing the laptop. Give us a call to discuss your specific laptop needs today. Laptops may also incur a clean up fee. Cleaning the laptop may be required as part of the diagnosis. Sometimes simply cleaning the dust and grime out of a laptop will correct its problems. All laptops will be cleaned if they have excessive food particles or dirt accumulation in the keyboard or other parts of the laptop, if they have dust, hair or other fuzzy material or if they emit an odor or appear to have had something spilled on it. Laptops with heavy odors and appearance of tobacco tar buildup will be cleaned to eliminate that as a source of problem. Typically this fee is non-refundable and will be required in advance after the initial inspection. Cleanup of each laptop will be $50 non-refundable in advance if initial inspection of the laptop determines that the laptop may require cleanup. |
